3 Simple Way to Decorate for Valentines Day

Easy Ways to Decorate for the Holiday of Love

It’s no secret that I love pink. With this being the “month of pink”, I feel like it’s only right that I fill my home with one of my favorite colors.

Although Valentines isn’t a major holiday, I love changing my home up for all the seasons and holidays. Here are 3 easy ways to add a little Valentines Day Decor that isn’t going to overwhelm your home or family members. 😉

Add Pink

I love that soft pink isn’t super overwhelming and is such a subtle way of adding that valentines feel for your home.

Flower everything

What says “I love you” more than flowers? I purchased these faux flowers from my favorite floral shop AFlorals. They are by the far the most realistic faux flowers I’ve ever owned. You can also purchase faux flowers from other craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Love Accessories

I made a quick “Love” banner this week using a DIY burlap bunting kit from Target Dollar Spot. But you can purchase blank bunting like this at most crafts stores and Amazon as well.

Chalkboards are a great way to add decor for any season or holiday. Spend some time on Pinterest searching sayings or quotes that you can copy to a chalkboard. I have a whole board designated to chalkboard ideas and lettering tips! You can also use my  sign making technique that I used to make my “DIY Tree Farm Sign” if you don’t feel confident in doing your own boards.

Pillows are a great accent piece for any holiday that won’t break the bank. I got this pillow case from one of my favorite pillow makers “BeiFioriEmbellish”.

Love is in the air…. Don’t forget to celebrate with the ones you LOVE. Check out my last post on some “At Home” Date night ideas.
