Modern Baby Boy Nursery on a Budget

Modern Baby Boy Nursery on a Budget

This modern baby boy nursery is so special to me.  My sister and I flew from California with  our babies to help our other sister prepare for her sweet baby boy who will be joining this world in August! This nursery is the perfect combination of cute and budget friendly. You would hardly know that half of the room is DIY!!!

We purchased a lot of the items for this room but still kept everything on a budget. Most of the weekend was spent DIYing some of the bigger pieces. We made the Hanging Wooden Sign above the crib, the sweet little Cactus Mobile, the Faux Wallpaper and the Yarn Tassel. All of these DIY’s can be done by anyone and will save you a ton of money.

You can save the image below to create your own Triangle Faux Wallpaper.

To see how we did the yarn tassel piece or cactus mobile you can head to instagram and check out my highlight called “nursery”. All you need is yarn, a stick from the yard and some scissors.

To create your own Wooden Wall Art you can check out the DIY tutorial here. This is super easy and can be used for any space in your home.

My favorite part of creating this nursery was doing it with some of my favorite ladies.

  1. I’m assuming the dresser was a refurbished thrift find? Or something of that nature? On the offchance it’s not, could you share where you found it and how you made it?
