DIY Christmas Wreath

A Cheap & Easy Holiday DIY Wreath

Can you believe Christmas is already next week? I am dying. Where has the month of December gone?

With the holidays being right around the corner, and many hosting in their homes, I thought I would hop on here and give you a last minute DIY. This simple wreath is cheap, easy, and you can finish it in under an hour.

All of your guests will be asking where you got your beautiful wreath, and you’ll get to take all the credit. Pretty cool right?!

Supplies needed:

Step One:

First you need to head to your local Home Depot and pick up your Free tree clippings, then head outside and find some pretty trees or shrubs that can be used as filler. You can also grab yourself enough to make some garland too. Head Here to check out my DIY tutorial on garland.

On my last trip, our local Home Depot had very little tree clippings left and, they were very dry. We are in Southern California and its been a HOT Christmas season, so finding fresh pine or any kind of Christmas green is almost impossible… so I took what I got and made the best with it.

For those of you who live in a place where you can find Pine, Cedar, or Douglas Fir outside go cut some now! I wish was you! Im dying for a little cold weather.

Step Two:

Cut your greenery to small pieces and fill wire wreath by attaching greenery (all in one direction) with the floral wire.

Step Three:

Fill in gaps with filler greenery. You can use magnolia branches, olive leaves, and many other kinds of plants for Christmas wreaths, so get creative! I guarantee you have something right outside your door.

Merry Christmas Friends!!
