You all know how much we love our Beddys Bedding! Game changer for parents and so worth the investment. I would recommend it over and over again. You can check out my post on why this has helped us keep organized in our kids room.

Here are my biggest Tips when it comes to keeping kids rooms simple and organized.

Tip One

“One in, one out rule”. Every time they come home with something new have them pick something in that category to give to someone else or donate. I keep the same rule when it comes to my closet. You can see why here.

Tip Two

Go through bins at least once every two months. I like keeping see through buckets so I can see what is in each bin.  My kids are hoarders and they love to keep little trinkets and trash hidden all over their room. If I didn’t make this a priority once every couple of months the mess would take over our home. The more often you do this, the easier it is.

Tip Three

Invest in bins and label them. This not only helps keep me organized, but others who help us clean. We have Grandma here twice a week, babysitters every once in a while, and lots of friends who come over to play. This simple and easy system helps everyone help us. This label maker is amazing and last time I checked, it was on major sale too!

Tip Four

Invest in a large and TALL shelving system. We got this one from Ikea, but there are so many good options out there. This keep things off the floor and in bins. It also helps my kids in learning how to clean. We don’t let them play with something new until the last thing was cleaned up. I keep most things (especially the tiny stuff) out of their reach. They have to ask mom to help them, which ensures we clean up our last mess first.

All of these simple steps have helped us keep everything so much more organized. We have also added a Kids Command Center that you can check out here!
