Our Outdoor Summer Nights
I’ve always dreamt of an outdoor space where my family could spend all summer playing, and enjoying the warm nights together. Now that our backyard space is almost complete, I want to spend every summer night outside making memories!!
Setting up this space was super easy and my boys thought I was the coolest. The only downside is waiting until 9:00 PM to start the movie when bedtime is usually 8:00 PM.
We chose the classic Jungle Book and ate way too much licorice and popcorn. But my husband both agreed these are the moments we want to create with our kiddos.
I used a canvas a painting canvas to watch the movie and attached it with some nails. You can find that here.
I moved all of our pillows and outdoor cushions to make the space night and cozy. You can also use rugs, blankets, or anything else soft. The idea is cuddle friendly. š
We have an outdoor fire pit, so of course I brought out our s’more kit. I got this idea from Nesting With Grace. I keep this little kit ready to go, and when an opportunity arises, I have it all ready.
The projector and sound is obviously the hardest part. We have a Vizio Sound Bar, So we just hooked up the bluetooth and it was good to go. We played the movie on our Mac Book Pro and used our little projector we have that we can easily hook up.
And thanks to Prime Day, I came across this gem. It would be a great birthday present or summer splurge!!!
